Our beautiful vintage hall, nestled in the heart of historic Burton Village, offers a truly authentic, charming and intimate setting in which to create your unique and special day. We’re perfectly positioned, bordering Burton woods and open countryside for relaxed rural weddings. Our license for Civil Ceremonies means you can enjoy your whole day with us.

The Hall
The hall can accommodate up to 85 guests for a sit down reception increasing to 100 for the evening celebration. The generous sized stage with velvet curtains is perfect for a late night band, DJ or a to place to exchange your vows. In the eaves is a sweet dressing room and a spot for watching your guests gather.

Eat, Drink…
You’ll find our bars are stocked with a wide range of popular drinks, from a choice of gins, to spiced rum and fruity ciders. We offer San Miguel and local ale Trappers Hat on draught and have plenty of thirst quenching soft drinks as well as non alcoholic gin, beer and cider. We’re happy to arrange a Prosecco welcome drink, toast and table wine and always try to accommodate requests.
Traditional wedding breakfasts, afternoon tea, street food, sharing plates and grazing tables, at Gladstone Village Hall we’ve seen it all. If you need inspiration we can provide you with a list of our recommended caterers. Our catering kitchen is also at your disposal.

The Setting
So much more than just a village hall…
Included in our wedding package is use of our large sports field with far reaching countryside views, perfect for a daytime marquee, garden games and with a barbecue patio. This is adjoined by our secret garden children’s play area, with plenty to entertain the youngest guests. Our Pavillion overlooks the field and can be hired for a small additional fee. It’s the perfect place from which to serve the welcome drinks.

Our professional catering kitchen, with range cooker, commercial dishwasher, boiling tap and plate warmer, is at your disposal. We can also provide you with a list of our highly recommended local caterers.
Briarfield Gardens

Our Package
Our weekend wedding package provides unrivalled value for money and includes exclusive use of the hall from 1pm on Friday until 4pm on Sunday and use of the grounds all day Saturday. During this time you will have access to set the hall up exactly as you want it, creating your perfect day, tailor made to your own requirements, budget and imagination!
Our team want your day to go without a hitch and will be on hand throughout the planning process for viewings, advice and information.
